Biohome BioMotion Media is a light weight, spherical media. It was specifically developed for moving bed filters.  Care must be taken to place it in the proper shaped container and adjust the agitation flow to move it gently.Biohome BioMotion Media is sold by the liter.  1 liter of media is approximately equal to 364 grams (12.8 ounces),  .9 quart or 61 cu in.Complimentary Filter Starter Balls (1/4 Bag per Liter) are shipped with each order. The media recovers quickly after the use of medications.Biohome BioMotion Media is a biological filter media and good mechanical filtration must be provided to insure the water passing through it does not contain any debris that might clog it.
